There is nothing new here, it has all been invented long ago...

Eight Piece Dodging Wand Set

  1. Lightweight and agile. all the wands are plain steel and the rods are thin, hard spring steel “music wire”.The wire will not bend, yet is thin enough to minimize a “tell-tale” shadow line on the print. All wands are easily held my the magnetic hanger.

  2. The wall hanger is a self-adhesive magnetic strip on a 14” long hardboard strip. Two flat head screws and plastic wall anchors are provided for mounting at a convenient and accessible location.

  3. Rotate and angle the wands for a wide variety of shadows shapes and sizes...

  1. The rods are long enough to reach across large prints and keep your hands our of the light path. The “mini wiggler” lightens “Uncle Joe’s face on that 5x7 group photo.

  2. If an unusual or precise shape is needed, a paper cur-out can be attached with tape or a small magnet. Store that cut-out with your negative for next time...

?...Looking for a way to enlarge those dinky 35mm proofs so you can make a better estimate of which ones to print? Here’s a negative carrier for 4x5 enlargers that makes it simple. Three strips of three 35mm negatives at a time.

?...Looking for a negative carrier for your 6x12 negatives? Want one for those 35mm X-pan negatives? While we’re at it, how about one for a Lomo Spinner 360 negative?  Special format for 4x5 enlargers made to your specifications....

Consisting of two separate 1/8” (3 mm) high density hardboard platens, the entire unit is 1/4” (6 mm) thick and fits either 4x5 Beseler M or Omega D Series enlargers..

Four pins assure alignment between the individual upper and lower platens. Once the carrier is closed, the negative will not shift out of alignment.

Four index pins on the underside of the lower platen project into the circular opening in the enlargers negative stage to center the carrier in the enlarger.

The 6x12 carrier window is 56 mm x 115 mm.

Note: The 6x12 negative format is easily compatible with 4x5 Beseler M or Omega D series enlargers.

The 6x15 carrier window is 56 mm x 145 mm.

Note: Omega enlargers with a square negative stage opening cannot accept the 6x15 negative format.

Beseler and Omega Compatible:

The Multi 35 Carrier fits most common 4x5 enlargers; The Beseler M series and the Omega D series. The indexing pins on the underside permit full rotation on Beseler units as well as Omega units having circular negative stage openings. Omega units with square openings cannot be rotated.

Film strip length:

Up to six or more negatives per strip can be held in the carrier. By raising the lamp house, pressure is released and the film can be slid laterally to a new position.

Better Contrast:

The Multi 35 carrier masks off most of the clear base and sprocket holes around the negatives to eliminate high levels of non-image forming ambient light when enlarging. Laying strips of film side-by-side on a sheet of glass exposes large areas of paper to hight levels of unnecessary light passing through the sprocket holes and clear film base. This light bounces off of the paper, illuminates the area adjacent to the easel and reduces image contrast.

Special Easels, Too...

Print a strip of three negatives on strips of 8x10 or 11x14 paper for even larger proofs.

The larger easel uses 1/3 sheet of 11x14 paper to make 3 x 4.5” proofs.

The smaller easel uses  either 1/3 sheet 8x10 or 1/5 sheet of 11x14  paper to make 2.5 x 3.5” proofs

Made of Cherry wood, quality hardboard and no-skid feet, they’re stable and easy to use.

They’re also nice enough to use for display or presentation pieces...
